From the auction of an old wood worker's esate came several 3" thick cuts of walnut.
Bookmatching the cuts yielded a table over three (3) feet wide and five feet long. The legs are from a walnut tree on the owner's property that went down in a storm.
The side table is a beautiful triangular shape with outstanding grain. The larger table is the focus in front of the couch and love seat. The smaller table sits between the couch and loveseat; all in front of a large fieldstone fireplace.
Both tables are in a well lite room with abundant natural light. The change in lighting throughout the day brings out some very unique grains in the wood. The pictures do not do the wood justice.
